About the Position

The Director of Facilities Management at Pine Creek Medical Center is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, attractive physical environment to provide quality patient care and service.

The scope of responsibilities includes leadership over Plant Services (Building), Environmental Services, Safety, Security, Landscape/Grounds, Environment of Care regulations, Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Food Service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or passed the General Education Development (GED) test,
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering Discipline) preferred. 
  • Must have five years hospital maintenance experience, 2 years of acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred. 
  • Must have Joint Commission/CMS Survey Experience at the Hospital level. 
  • Must possess knowledge of local and state codes and regulations.  
  • Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual readiness. 
  • Must have strong judgment, problem-solving and crisis management skills. 
  • Must possess understanding of building Management Control Systems, Life Safety Systems, and other systems. 
    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word) and Microsoft Outlook software.
